*Approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 5, 2021 No. 787, In accordance with subparagraph 10-4) of Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Tourism Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan", Tourist fee for foreigners shall be charged from tourists for each day of stay in places of accommodation for tourists, with the exception of hostels, guest houses, rental housing in cities and regions. The amount of the tourist fee for foreigners that is payable shall not be included in the price. The tourist fee rate for foreigners in the city of Aktobe is 5 (five) percent of the cost of the stay.

Economy
Aktobe is a center of Aktobe region with population of about 400 thousand people. The region borders with Russia and Uzbekistan and six regions of Kazakhstan. This region concentrates all reserves of chrome ore in Kazakhstan, a third part of titanium and cobalt reserves, also copper, zinc, phosphates, coal and gold. The largest deposits are Khromtau, Zhanazhol, Kenkiyak, Alibekmola and Urikhtau.
More than 20 investment projects are being implemented in the region, including construction of several new metallurgical plants. Mining sector and rapid industrialization program are a great investment appeal for Kazakhstani and foreign investors and businessmen. The city is an operating base of oil&gas and mining industry companies. The largest of them include: Joint-stock transnational company "Kazchrome" (Aktobe Ferroalloy plant, Donskoy Ore Mining and Dressing plant – part of ENRC), CNPC Aktobemunaigas, Kazakhoil Aktobe, Aktobe Oil Equipment Plant, Voskhod-Oriel, Aktobe Copper Company. JSC "Aktyubrentgen" in partnership with General Electric Healthcare is working on production of CT scanners.
Production FMCG and retail industries are also rapidly developing. National and international companies from services sector and commerce, for example MEGA Management and Metro Cash & Carry see a good potential in increasing demand here.
